Concert preview: Mickey Avalon raps about gritty past

All right. Is that it? Great, thank you so much. That was easy. I should be a notary. Q: Who are you punching on the album cover of I Get Even? A: A security guard at a show (in Santa Barbara, Calif.). I was opening for Snoop on tour and this usher was being a d— for no reason. He started the whole melee and then the security guard came after me and the photo got taken and it was on the cover of the newspaper . The security guard got fined, the usher lost his job. I thought the photo went the best with the title of the EP. iTunes wouldnat post the photo, so itas only on my website and a very small amount of actual hard copies. You canat even order them; you can only get them at my shows. Q: How do you keep on the straight and narrow these days? A: Thatas all relative.
